Our skilled staff will take the initiative to get to know who you are, what your goals are, and whom you are trying to target. Once this is established we will gather that information and design your website / print piece to be eye catching and unforgettable. Styles, colors, and fonts will be meticulously chosen in order to have the biggest impact possible on the targeted audience.
We had one client who was starting up a modeling agency and we were desperately trying to come up with a suitable identity that would spark the interest of their desired audience. In search of inspiration, our team must have examined over a dozen different modeling agency websites and came up with nothing. Finally, a member of our team said, “Why are we doing this? How can we come up with an original concept for a very specific audience through a bunch of unoriginal ideas?” So we decided to write up list of questions for our client to answer. I warned the client that some of the questions could appear strange but if they could answer them as best they could it would help us a great deal.
These were some of our questions along with the clients answers:
Q. What 3 words should enter the users head when they visit the websites homepage?
A. Sophisticated, clean, and sexy.
Q. If you could have your website advertised on a billboard in any city/street where would it be? Why?
A. Well two streets come to mind right away 1) Melrose Ave. 2) Wilshire Blvd. (the section closer to Westwood). I think these two streets are very “L.A”, not only do these streets have a blend of the business lifestyle of LA but also the fun nightlife as well.
Q. You have a BIG-TIME meeting with a FAMOUS CELEBRITY to discuss some potential business with AMARI, what restaurant will you hold the meeting at?
A. Yet another good question =) the first choice would have to be Dolce in Los Angeles. It has a great laid back, yet stylish/hip vibe. The ambience is great, not too fancy and stuffy, but definitely a trendy and sexy place to dine. The other obvious choice would be Nobu Sushi in Malibu. This restaurant is just a great fit for anyone that lives in Los Angeles, it’s healthy, trendy, sophisticated, and serene.
Q. What celebrity would best represent AMARI’s Website?
A. As random as his may seem, I would have to say the celebrity that would best represent AMARI’s website would be P.Diddy. Not only is he business savvy, but his presence is synonymous with style, he’s charismatic, driven, and knows how to give the public the kind of entertainment they want.
Q. If AMARI was an alcoholic beverage what would it be? Why?
A. As far as an alcohol beverage, specifically, I would say a martini. A martini has always been considered a classic, sophisticated, and sexy drink. Now in terms of a type of alcohol I would have to say Vodka, Vox Vodka to be exact. Vodka is just good either way you have it, whether straight up or mixed, and all the great drinks just happened to be made with it.
Q. If AMARI was a car what would it be? Why?
A. Being a lover of cars myself I knew the answer to this as soon as I finished reading the question. I just read an article yesterday on caranddriver.com about the 2009 Maserati Quattroporte Coupe and I would have to describe that car as classy (given Maserati’s history), sophisticated (given its styling), not too flashy, powerful, and just downright an attractive looking car.
Q. AMARI needs a receptionist for the front desk ASAP! You need a face and personality that represents the company in the best way possible. What celebrity/TV character is ideal for the position?
A. You know oddly enough I know the answer to this too without much thought. I would say Vanessa Minnillo from MTV. She’s quite articulate, has a sense of humor, very charismatic on-screen, doesn’t project the “I’m way too good for you attitude”, and just an overall good person to be the first face people see when people come to see us.
These questions may seem unusal, but it really helps us to understand how you want to be portrayed and who you're trying to target.
